Got another question about my truck that's been bugging me. The truck has shock hoops in the front with duals on each side, but there is a 3rd shock in the stock location. had a friend tell me that i shouldn't be running that 3rd. can anyone clear this up for me?

depends really. if you like the ride, leave them. if you think it rides stiff, pull the single shock and see if you like it. Running dual shocks on the upper control arm (stock or aftermarket) will wear the ball joint out quicker than most people like. the upper ball joints were never designed to control dampening of our heavy front ends. Im ditching my dual shocks and going to run a single 2.5" resi shock up front. should help everything last longer under my abuse
