Tye Hardin a local puller and friend of mine was playing with his dodge pull truck a couple of days ago and desided to take her out on the road and hot rod a few min to try out a new setup.

Well during his time out on the road Tye was on a straight away and made a small pass down the road well to Tye's suprise his p-pump hung wide open, tye drove the truck the best he could until he ran up on a curve he couldnt make the turn jump a ditch and rolled his truck

Glad to hear he is okay. Thats a rough one....no air or battery shut offs I assume?

He has a air shut off but it fixed to hook to the sled

Wow. Glad he is ok. Guess this is why you have shut offs. Glad no one was hurt. Is the power train still good for the most part?

He said he planning on rebuilding it, but it looks awful rough to me

I think it was last Wednesday night that my buddy showed me pictures of a ky truck that crashed like that. Could it have been the same one, or did this happen more recently? That just plain sucks though

Wow glad he is ok. I have seen quite afew trucks run away while the sled operators just set's there not knowing whats going on its never a bad idea to have shut offs in the cab so you can get it shut down when there is a problem maybe even better insurance when its a p-pump truck.

Wow, that's crazy! Why didn't he just throw it in neutral?

I was thinking the same thing, but if you think about it, by the time you realize whats going on it may be too late. I know if I do a WOT test on my truck I usually run it to 80-100 mph and from a dead stop that doesn't take long, after you let off at 80 mph and the truck doesn't quit pullin, turns can come up fast.

Glad no one was hurt.
