I've noriced on my ALLISON that when it does a 2-1 downshift whil I'm at idle and if I touch the throttel right when it begins to downshift it's like it goes into neutral and then catches. I notice it ht emost when I am turning into a parking lot or shopping plaza where there is a slight incline to the entrance and I am trying to ease up it slowly. Is this pretty much normal of all the ALLISON's? I ask because my grandfathers motorhome has a 3560 6 speed in it and his will do the same exact thing except his has a CUMMINS 8.3L mated to that is mechanically injected and will bang when it cathces because of no torque management on shifts.
Also I have noticed on my ALLISON in the BURB that when it does it's first 3-4 shift once it is warm after a re-start it will shift a bit rough and will be fine for every 3-4 shift after that. Is this a problem in the 01 OS, nature of the beast, or sound like I messed something up on my build? I did use 7 clutches in the C2 pack when I did the build and I didn't have a spring plate to go in it.
