Everything went well last night! Could have came off the line a little harder but I didn't really know what to expect. That being said I pulled 285ft good enough for 5th place out of probably 15 trucks(stock charger class). I was happy with it, there was definatley not a power issue! Should have video up in a day or so, got to get it from a friend.

Check it out!

Truck looks sharp and nice job for first time out. I am going to hook for the first time this sunday. Did you use your stock reciever hitch? and if so how did it hold up? How hard would you come off the line next time out? Eric

stock reciever and a buddy made me a hitch...worked great, no problems with it.

The track was super stickey and I didn't want to taco the front end not knowing how it was going to act I left the line very slowly and got going a little bit before laying into it...next time I will get more aggresive with it off the get go.

Damn blocker at work, I'll check out the video at lunch at the firehouse.

Thanks guys! It was a freakin' blast!:thumb:

Truck looked and sounded good. My brother's truck (white cclb) would not hook up. He ended up 287 I believe. Dieseldave01 took the win with the front end crab walking again.:D Track was like a sponge. A lot of broken parts trying to get the sled moving in the other classes.

Thanks man, I talked to your brother a little bit in staging....his truck sure is a runner!

I was kind of dissapointed on the turn out, seems like there is usually more trucks there in the stock class then that. Good times though, guess i'm headed to somewhere in KY this weekend....towing my buddies truck down, the white reg. 3rd gen dodge that pulled in the stock class. Guess there is 2 pulls in one night somewhere down there. Said it's about 1.5 hours away?

Looks like you need to get some suspension stops on the rig.. That would get you another 10 feet :) traction bars too!

Stops are in the process! Picked up the metal yesterday just got to slap them togather....I would like to have some bars made right now but I think my wife would shoot me!

Don't spend some ungodly amount on traction bars. Get a stick of DOM and two of the top links below from TSC. Cut them in half, jam them in the ends of the tubing and weld them. Weld some tabs to the frame and bolt them up.:thumb:

You having good luck with those likes holding up?..I don't want them to end up making a bunch of noise after a year of use. But I also don't really want to spend 80 bucks a piece on good heims! What to do what to do....it never ends..Lol
