1st ever hook on the sled

Have to thank 2500HeavyDuty for the assistance(how do i do this, how do I do that) and also for his hitch.
I was so excited I forgot to build boost, but it was a great pull anyways. I dont kow how much weight was on the sled, they said it would be lighter than what each class was pulling. This was in the fun class, bring whats out in the parking lot and money goes to cancer. The pull was 196.88ft. Here is the video of my first pull, Im pretty pumped. :drool:

Yeah, Im addicted bad. I didnt have half the power of others and I managed to out pull a lot of folks. Im guessing traction was on my side, cuz I sure didnt have the rpms that every1 else had. I did feel my front tires wobble towards the end and I left off a little. I wont pull again, til I can afford sleeves.... Ha, now im searching everywhere for another pull in the area, so I can watch and learn. Oh, Outlawdra guy with white truck was a big help. He let me look at his setup so I can have an idea where everything goes-rear blocks, rear traction bars... Even couple of Dodge guys stopped to help when I was trying to take my ball off my receiver..:hug: I just cant wait to meet more folks and have some good times.

It is fun. congrats. You are correct to get sleeves or bigger tie rods. Make sure to lower the front so the axles are straight, then let her rip.

you know I cant remember. I do remember a truck in 2wd that maybe got 50ft. We all stood up and clapped for him, but i thought he was a stock Ford. Ill go back through my vidoes and check. I couldnt get the videos on youtube, so I put some on photobucket...

OH, you have no idea how bad I wanted to stay, but kiddos took priority. I didnt know the pulls would have been so late or I would have made arrangements for the kids. I still had a blast and glad I got to meet ya. Keep me posted on any other pulls and ill make a trip.
