So this will start off pretty fast to catch up to where the truck is now then getting kinda slow because the Air Force dorm life doesn't give me much of a budget.

Bad luck immediately hit me once I bought the truck, in my 4 hour drive home I picked up a nail in my tire, and didn't have a spare. Then I went to try my first fuel filter change and found my WIF to be chewed to hell and not coming off. So I did the smart thing and called ATP and got me a CAT adapter. Also made a trip to the local junkyard and got me a rim and tire for $25.

I then bought the ever famous $3 resonator delete kit and purchased a set of DRP transmission lines to never deal with leaking lines again. Around the same time I started playing with Plastidip to get a feel for what look I wanted for the truck.

Few weeks later my truck got a workout by driving 1700 miles nearly non stop to Wisconsin then was a light duty tow pig for a two weeks. I then bought a small boat and camper off my uncles and drove that combo back 1700 miles to Idaho this time taking a little longer and enjoying the view. Also during this time my muffler magically disappeared and my transmission lines were upgraded.

About that time was the start of early deer season for me so most of my truck budget went out the window. My 4x4 stickers got taken off along with the plastidip experiment.

Finally towards October I picked up a 5" magnaflow straightpipe from Alligator Performance. I drove a couple weeks with it dumped and a couple weeks with a out the side configuration. I ended up taking the side piece out because it had more drone.

Then in early January I simply ****ed up while going mudding with a friend. I smashed my whole front end, took out my transmission cooler, and cracked pretty much everything plastic up front. JHill from Duramaxforum kindly pulled my truck the 5 miles back to town where my truck sat for a week out of commission.

A week later I got a new transmission cooler and added the remaining transynd I had left into the transmission. Luckily that was enough and my baby was back in action. Following weeks I picked up parts to completely change my front end along with some tow mirrors.

Finally once I had everything I went over to my buddy's garage and spent 3 hours ripping off old parts and putting new shit on. It came out looking great and couldn't have been happier.

In March went to ATP got the truck EFI Live and packed my bags, headed south for Phoenix. I ended up going down to Copperhead Diesel dyno day and met a couple familiar faces from here. My truck was probably one of the weakest duramax there at 432/965 on a 120 tune but still was a good day.

Just a few months ago I put some Bilstein 5100s on the truck, along with an ABS sensor. My ride got a little better but still rides like a battlewagon.

We probably talked but at the time, I didn't know who was who lol. I remember a few people talking about your truck being long travel suspension and such. I think I might even have a video of it up on the dyno.and thats where i remembered seeing your truck! could not remember for the life of me
