I've searched and can't find a definitive answer. I am looking to get new wheels and tires for my truck. I want to get eagle series 079 in super polish black that are 18x9 with -12 offset and 4.5 backspacing with nitto terra grappler 285/60r18 tires. I want to leave the truck stock ride height. The bumper valance has already been trimmed. Will they fit without rubbing? The only other option I have in that wheel is a 18x8.5 with +20 offset with 5.5 backspacing.

I am running 17x8 with 4.5 BS with 265/70 17's. I currently rub a little bit on the air dam and the inner fenders. So I'm thinking you may rub a bit with the 18x9 with 4.5 BS, slight trimming should take care of it. If it was me I would try and run it. The 18x8.5 with the 5.5 BS will tuck in closer to the center of the truck and should make it easier to fit that tire.

i run 305 65 17 with 4.5bs and -12 offset on my 02 that i just sold changing it to my 08 but rubbed a little bit i used a heat gun and remolded the inner fenders little by little until no rub or very minner rub. tb's cranked maybe 2 turns from stock. so you should be good and they look sweet.:thumb:

That's the exact same offset, backspace and wheel and tire size I run. I'm lowered with the tbars all the way down and 3" drop shackles. I trimmed alot when I ran 35's on a leveling kit though. I have no rubbing at all. I've ran 285/75/16 and 285/70/17 without rubbing also. I would think they would fit without trimming. Iirc they r like 31.5" tall kinda like a 265/75/16.
