Just posting this for those that run a 1792 lift-pump with out a pre-filter. On the way to the track Friday my lift-pump picked up a piece of trash and cracked the impeller in half. If anyone knows if you can buy the impeller and the veins please let me know. Thanks!;)

I am going to try to take one of mine back for a warranty on the motor, if they don't want to replace it for me I'll send you the pump section off of it. The pump was fine just a problem with the brushes, I'm guessing the seal was leaking between the motor and pump letting fuel through.

:D But I bet they didn't break it.:D
I have family that works for the post office, I have seen how they work. Better safe than sorry. Plus I have a bunch of that stuff to get rid of, and you were just the next victim in line.

Installed it yesturday. You must have had one of those " Special" pumps. It's pumping 17psi now, which it never did. I'm going to have to turn it down a little before I go hunting Kat's:D Here Kitty-Kitty:D

I have never put a gauge on it, and I had it cranked all the way up for probably a year I would guess. Maybe I just killed it.:D I took the screw all the way in and only backed it off maybe 1/8 of a turn so it didn't have much if any bypass for the pressure. Probably a good thing I left the other one alone so far. I'll have to get a gauge.:)
