Ok so I am supposed to be damn near to Utah by now to work on Trents truck, and am currently riding home with a tow truck driver. I lost ANOTHER wheel bearing. Truck started shuddering and screeching about an hour and a half outside of Reno. I pulled over shut the truck off and checked everything out. Wheel flops around like a fish. What in the hell? I have replaced both hubs already. One at around 70k and one around 85k. WTF gives? Both from Napa, always torqued down properly and everything. No Utah today, and no money to buy a hub right now.

That sucks, I too had to put a new bearing on the drivers side . After i put my lift on, it was screeching like crazy, It just decided to give up.

My bud at the dealer ship said he found them for around 100 bones at advance auto, off brand but cheap none the less.

My pass side lasted me 105k. Changed it and checked the drivers side and it is still tight. O and mine went out while I was taking parts to a buddy too haha.

That sucks, sorry to hear. It's only when you depend on/need your truck the most that it takes a dump on ya, been there done that! Hope you get figured out and back up and running........
You scare me though....I just bought a NAPA driver's side hub and just replaced it.......................first time I replaced it was from Eric's. This makes the second time.

man, i was just talking about this with a buddy today. my 02 with 80-85k on it gets 2wheelbearings(3 months apart), had a 6" lift, and offset wheels. my 01, which is my work truck, 285s and factory rims; it has a heavy ass boss vee plow on it every winter and pulls a trailer 5-6 days a week for the past 8yrs, is still on its factory bearings with close to 200k on it. my theory is us guys with with lifts and or offset wheels are trashing these wheelbearings easier than with the factory rim/offset. i would get timkens with the lifetime warranty and keep the reciept in the glovebox because you(we) will be changing them again:( guaranteed
