On my 14 LML stock other than tune and delete. Upper radiator hose sucking shut which I assume is the coolant tank cap needing cleaned or replaced... but I'm also getting a low coolant light last few trips hauling equipment. Not seeing any coolant leaking out, but you can smell it... any ideas?

Look carefully around the radiator where the fan shroud is and see if any of the pieces of rubber flaps had inverted and are rubbing on the radiator. This is a known issue and has rubbed holes in the radiator. Sometimes the leak is small enough that it doesn't drip but with the heat and airflow it dries up . But you can usually see a wet spot on the fins if it is leaking

Thank you 2004LB7, I will pull the shroud and take a look.

Some findings so far.
1. The radiator cap was packed gunk and greasy looking crap. Cleaned it and hopefully will work.
2. While cleaning the radiator cap, I found a piece of foil (like the sealant foil from the top of a radiator jug) stuck up above the threads to the rubber gasket!.
3. I also found an air purge vent valve up about the upper radiator hose where it connects at the engine.

Pretty clean actually. What is the vent valve looking up that is next to the upper radiator hose that connects to the motor? It appears that it connects to the thermostat hosing?

I found this to be leaking.... see photo. It's the weep hole on the pass side of the coolant tank

I filled and purged the way it read in the attachment. It started leaking from that weep oe on the passenger side of the coolant tank... went and got a new coolant tank cap. No change really. It kinda stopped leaking out the weep hole as much, but I could see what looked to be air bubbling in the pass side of the tank. And the drivers side of the tank was now empty. Any ideas?
