Couldnt hook even remotely as close as I can on the strreet :( .... Even at 8psi I was blowing them off and letting out....

Also because I 'm on the stock trans I let out completely when shifting to 5th which hosed my back half... But better than limping it!

PMP CO 4800ft elevation... 75ish degrees, crosswind

1.9 and 2.0 60's
80mph 1/8th
Best of 13.6 @ 98mph

Figured thats decent for altitude and stock trans... And no flipping traction!!

It will hold 10-11psi on the street on a cold night with 74psi in the tires.. so I started out at like 66... worked down into the 50's psi, and that resulted in a better 60 but hurt me on the top end and I ran the same exact times at a lower mph. (best of a 1.8 60ft)

I realize that's still a fair amount of pressure... but I fully expected the track to be prepped as well as a cold street

Air the tires down. If you're comfortable running to 4k rpm, you won't have to worry about the 4-5 xhift. I run 13.302 @ 104 with a tune, lift pump and exhaust. 35psi fronts, 30 rears.

Edit: just saw ur post. My 60s never went under 1.9..... too heavy, crappy converter.

I do have my tune set to shut down the fuel at 4k.... just didn't seem like I could get to 98+ on 265's but then again, I didn't try (should have!) Because that was killing me big time.

You know.. it just pisses you off when you know the vehicle has more in it, but a couple little things are not lining up quite right the way you want. (guess thats what makes it fun/challenging though)

Then again, I set out today to run the truck (first time)... my plan was to get in the 13's and drive it home. So all in all it went slightly better than I estimated. But man... The truck had the power to go a 13.4-13.5 at around 100 if everything was right!

And sadly, this was our last track day, and by next year I'll have my car back together on the new setup and probably just start using the truck for the reason I bought it (tow the car).

In other news, there was a common rail cummins, long bed, lifted on probably 33's running 11.6's at 122mph!!! he couldn't hook either but that thing got down on the big end.
