Allison 5sp: 13.26@100 mph stock trans

I ran the 2002 RCLB yesterday and had a best of 13.26@ 100 mph with a 1.87 sixty foot. The truck has a completly stock transmission and engine with 190000 miles. The only mods are EFI Live, K&N intake, ppe boost valve, Flowmaster muffer on the stock exhaust, 285x75x16 BFG AT's on stock aluminum rims, tierod sleeves & centerlink support

good stuff, best i could do with a stock trans was 13.5 but it was already limped at that point. i did get in the 1.7's for the 60' though. bet this truck could of made it to the 12's with a better launch

A key would be to move the shift points up. More RPM = Less torque on the converter, which is what fails first.

I ran a 13.3 @ 100 w/ 1.87 60ft leaving easy 2 days ago on my stock trans 06 extra cab. Nice run!! :thumb:

Unless someone has gone faster since, Importkilla went 12.78 back in 2008 in his RC before the trans got built (with a stock TCM tune).

I went 12.9 with a transgo-jr and drag radials.

No major weight reduction either.

No lift pump, I'm dropping rail pressure to 140 mpa with 2200 pw.
