Got to the track today. Weather held out for the most part. It was nice to put some faces to screen names on here finally. Thanks Ben for looking up those codes for me:hug:. I ran 3 times today and am trying to make sense of the times. I actually think I was letting out of it before the end of the track:eek:. I was letting off at the score board but later found out that the lights go a good bit farther:mad: So that would make sense I guess with the low mph. Good news is I beat all my old times!! Here they are:

60ft: 1.828
330: 5.260
660: 8.149
mph: 93.21mph
1000: 10.625
1/4: 12.821
mph: 99.5mph

60ft: 1.804
330: 5.231
660: 8.119
mph: 93.33mph
1000: 10.622
1/4: 12.792
mph: 99.55mph

60ft: 1.787
330: 5.198
660: 8.079
mph: 93.92mph
1000: 10.559
1/4: 12.748
mph: 97.71mph

Other then the mph being off and not knowing if there a little more left in her, I am happy with the time. I can now say at least its a 12 second truck :thumb:

:spit:haha the thought did cross my mind. Tony and I did switch to 2002 TCM OS so maybe the speed limit is in the TCM not the ECM and we forgot to switch it off? If you read this Tony, is that possible? I have no idea on that one, thats why I am no tuner:baby:

Maybe the MPH was just off? The speed for your 1/8 mile seems kind of fast too.

Congrats on the 12 :thumb:

Thanks guys. I am really excited for the 12's to say the least but the 99mph thing is really pissing me off. I am new to drag racing but a fast learner so if someone can shed some light on the relationship to the time vs. the mph I would appreciate it. I ran against Custom 8726 and we ran almost identical times. I ran 12.821 @ 99.5 to his 12.845 @ 106.07. Maybe I am just over thinking this:confused:

Did you get any logs? If so, did you notice anything odd in them?

I couldnt figure that one out for the life of me!

Kris's truck did throw a P0103 and P0238, and I dont know what tony did in the tune but those CAN cause slight fueling "goofiness". But still running 12.7-12.8 at less than 100mph confuses me.

Good meeting you today Kris and congrads on the new best 1/4 mile time!

Uhmmmmmm, No

You have a 2002 ECM/OS and a 2002 TCM/OS remember I did the relearn for you with the Tech II.

;)

Don't lift until you pass the last beam, I stay in it at least 100 feet past the last beam.

I don't shut off codes, everything is turned on so that you can properly diagnose a bad sensor, ect and know what is going on.

The P0103 and P0238 codes will not pull fuel, but they will still code sometimes.

:D

P0101 and/or P0103 will cause odd fueling issues on an LLY. I was incorrect in assuming the LB7's were the same...cause theyre easier. :p:

Where were you today mister tuna'? I tried calling you.

I was going to head up there but the threat of rain kept me away.

I was testing some tunes out in my "Classic" LBZ.

:thumb:

You need to stop by with that red-headed step child so I can beat the life out of for a few hours and then the next time you head to the track you'll be in the mid or low 12's.

Just leave me the truck for the weekend and I'll remove all the demons in it.

I dont know if I dare......you might also remove all of my stock-LBZ pistons and replace them with some cracked ones... :D :p:

Yeah Ben thanks again for reading those and it was nice meeting you to:thumb: I didnt feel like it pulled any fuel. Like I said I didnt even know it set the code until the run was over so it could have been any time during it

Thats what I thought Tony just making sure. I did however take my truck today to work and on the way just "tested" out to see if theres a speed limiter still in place:thumb: Lets just say there is none:D Leason learned though, I can chalk this up to operator error:eek: Wont happen again though:baby:
