Well made my first pass on the new trans/tune and i couldn't be happier. Sadly due to mutiable oil downs and one timing light issue I could only make one pass. I'll post a pic of the actuall timeslip tomorrow as proof. So excited about this time. She def has a little more in her.

i had her down to 6650...at least according to the shotty scale i used. no big highways here so no trucker scales around. just junkyards and one powerplant and the junkyards get pissed when you just weigh in and leave:angel:

i could still somewhat easily drop i would say another 200lbs or close to it, i wanna replace both front seats with sport buckets and i could take one battery out still.. the truck is a fully loaded LT so shes one heavy SOB...or she was ;)

Thats not bad at all for a loaded CC, I think I could get mine down to 6,700 or so without going to crazy but Its still my DD so I am leaning towards just making some more power.:D Congrats on the good times

Our CC/SB weighs in @ 7160 with me in it, I scale about 190 on a good day, If i pushed the weight issue 6700 should be doable, loosing the full length step bars, tail gate, GN hitch, bed cover, bed mat, 6.5' traction bars, thats easily 300+ lbs. I think if some one wanted 6200~6300ish could be done!

Congrats! 107 is good mph. Mind me asking the particulars of your truck? Looks like you took the recommendations from your lightweight thread to heart. :thumb:

You guys are making me really miss my truck.

no prob Tom. It's an 05 cc/sb, caltracs, Detroit trutrac diff, lbz mouthpice, banks ram air, blocked egr, 3 1/2 exhaust, 6650lbs with me in it, georges trans, nicks tune, sleeves and braces, falken tires, only 2 rear leafs with drop keys. 3 inch downpipe and uh I think that's about it....
