Went Back to the track tonight because they are calling for alot of rain saturday and my best time I ran a 12.35
The first pass I made I saw boost go past 20lbs so I let her go and it wheel hopped a little and then took off so I was gonna take it a little easier on my next passes then the rest of the afternoon I could not get my boost over 12lbs and the truck would not get over 2000 rpms trans gauge was around 225 degress well I made 4 passes with in hour and a half and on my way home I looked down and the trans gauge was a little below 150 degress so I stopped and boosted up again well the boost went through the roof I quit at 30lbs and the rpms was at 3000 so the trans being above 150 degress is causing my torque converter to stall so from here on out I need to let my trans cool alot so maybe I can break that 11 second mark

Second Pass 12.35 @ 112.03 60 ft 1.81 1/8th 7.94 @ 88.67 mph
Third Pass 12.47 @ 111.92 60 ft 1.88 1/8th 8.05 @ 88.44 mph
Forth Pass 12.46 @ 112.02 60 ft 1.87 1/8th 8.05 @ 88.57 mph

Congrats man , good times for sure ! I have never had a converter / fueling issue do to trans temps but sometimes weird things happen with these trucks , logging your runs becomes almost mandatory if you want max effort .

Thanks Trent yeah Im gonna have to build me a place to hold my laptop and v2 because my cellphone hit the back of the cab yesterday on my first pass because I forgot to put it in my pocket lol and last time I tryed to record a copy on my dash board with efi it wouldnt let me something about it couldnt get hooked up to my truck some how EFI Live is great but it always leaves me scratching my head

My trans does some stupid things too, tc will lock up down shift, wait a bit then downshift again and go sometimes. Shift hard at times soft the others, either clunks or flares on 4th gear upshift. Wont shift good unless I hot lap it, if I turn my truck off I need to hot lap it again to get it to shift right again.

I know how you feel about your trans, they can be a real headache

That's probably because your clutches are screaming "LET ME OUT!!".. :D

Well it takes me about 50 min to get to the track and of corse instead of turning the truck off and letting it cool and taking my time, hell im ready to race so I just get right in line and let her go but next time I go ill take my time since I have most of my jitters out and let the truck get ready to race instead of me rushing everything

Just set up the black box logging and throw the FlashScan cable in the passenger's seat.
