Took the truck to the track last night. First pass out, spun just a tad and cut a 11.868 at 11.9mph with a 1.61 60'
I was on 4 M&H drag radials with the tailgate, spare tire, backseat and reciever hitch removed. Wish I could remove the welded in gooseneck hitch!
Funniest part was texting Josh after the run on tune 4. I was in he middle of letting the truck cool and had flipped to tune 5, setting up cameras again fixing to head out. I had just asked "should I run tune 5?" Josh's response was classic, "After seeing that ET, I probably would never ever put it on tune 5 again." of course I had to double check, "you being serious about tune 5?".... "Unless you really don't care if you blow up your motor".
So.... no tune 5! lol better safe than sorry, no sense in deliberately tearing up a good truck. We will just leave it here for a while. Maybe we will go up in power later on.
Manged to run across a Dodge charger R/T trying to pick races on the interstate on the way home. from a 75mph roll, pulled away from him twice with giving him the opportunity to downshift and jump. Great night at the track and fun trip home!!!
I owe it all to Josh Harris!!! His tuning is spot on, truck is a beast and extremely smooth. Absolutely love it!! Can't thank him enough for his hard work and dedication to being a perfectionist!
I had 2 go pro's and a freestyleHD filming on and inside the truck. Just need to get the files together.
