I couldn't get to the opening test and tune day (broken collarbone/fractured ribs from ATV riding accident two weeks ago) at Bandimere last Saturday but I was able to watch it from my deck and I was shocked at some of the times a few trucks were running. I had my PC by my side where Bandimere posts the times of each run on something called Live Timing and I could see who came in first or second on each run using my spotting scope. Well, I thought I saw not one but two diesel trucks (one was from ATS since I could see the logo on the side and the other looked like a late model Ram) run 11.7's when the DA was 7100'. If you compare the times to the DPC at SLC (where the DA was around 5000'), these guys would run around 11.5 at SLC (good enough for 2nd place) and even faster at sea level so they were smokin'! Does anyone have any idea what the ATS truck is running since I couldn't tell if it was a Ram or Duramax but it did appear more goatish?

Thanks! I'm getting better but I can sure tell I'm not 21 anymore, even though my mind thinks so... :)

It was an 05 Dodge DRW on 35's. Fuel only. Big Compounds and twin Cp-3's.
Not too bad for a sled puller. No video but it's Mike S' truck under the pulling videos 2008

It looked like it had a flared bed like a dually but from a mile and a half away, I couldn't tell for sure and with it running like a raped ape, it was hard to believe. Plus there were a bunch of trucks in a row so they were probably all together from ATS or customers. Thanks for the info. I guess I'm not king of this hill...
