The truck ran its best yet today on a very hot and slick race track. The lock-up controller helped a bunch. I have not had time to look at any logs yet but the truck is a much stronger through the middle of the track now. Thanks to everyone who helped with the tuning tips. I still need a line lock and a way to use the Brake Torque mgmt to get me off the line with a boosted launch.

Here are the incrementals:

60' = 1.96sec (0-2 lbs of boost at launch)
330' = 5.09sec
1/8th ET = 7.62sec
1/8th MPH = 97.93mph
1000' ET = 9.79sec
1000' MPH = 111.888mph
1/4 ET = 11.52sec
1/4 MPH = 121.82mph

Track was very hot & greasy. No prep and we should have only been allowed to run 1000'. It was all I could to get safely stopped with hot brakes after hot lapping my truck (nearly ran it off the end once).

I did not dare try to spray. I think with a line lock & boosted launch I can get another 2-3 tenths. My truck cleared up a 2700us tune to a grey haze at about 60' so I think with a small jet I can get to the 10sec range.

Thanks again to everyone who has helped. Big thanks to Mike Bodine for the transmission work and words of advice.

Congrats on the nice run. Definitely a lot more in the truck. Might even be able to get a 10 on fuel if you can get it to hook.

Are you trying to use the line lock for burnouts? What problems are you having with the brake torque tables?

Line lock should help with the burnouts. I tried to disable the Brake torque mgmt as a band-aid fix to help with the burnout but then I just push through the brakes. I never thought a burnout could be that much of a challenge but the line lock should help.

I would like to be able to use the BTM tables to help simulate what a two-step does in a drag car launch. Hold the throttle open to help build consistent boost while keeping rpms constant until you let off the brake.

Set it to become active at 100%. When you do your burnout, don't go that high (hold the pedal just barely off the floor), but when you stage, just hold it to the floor (or you can set it to deactivate at like 30% or something so you can blip the throttle to 100% then back off of it to modulate how fast the RPMs climb). Should work just fine.
