109,xxx miles @ 5.9 hours on the hour meter

Rollin down the road the road today went to reset the trip meter, scrolling back to the mileage, past the hour meter and it says 5.9 hours WTF???? I reset my oil life yesterday through the brake pedal method but i always forget if its the brake or accelarator that needs to be pushed and the order in which to push them. Could I have somehow through a series of taps on each pedal reset my hour meter? Just weird!!!

Are you running just one battery, or have you had your batteries unhooked recently? I heard sometimes that can do it.

Nope two batteries, only I have done recent was reset the oil life

My LBZ use to do that all the time just reset the hours on its own all the time.

It happened to me when I flashed an older OS into my truck, Not sure if it's related or not. 9,150 gallons of diesel and 22 hours on mine :thumb:

Ya very common problem, my racetruck did it in the summer and my LLY i just bought has 1100hours and 420,000kms lol, don't think previous owner has been doin 400kmh average:woott:
