10 Speed "Allison" Fluid Spec

Mike... What is the new 10 speed "Allison" required fluid, Dex IV or can you use Transynd?

Probably Dexron HP or the new fluid Dexron LP HP.

Mike what any idea how good those fluids will be if used in the older trucks?

All the new fluids out there make the transmission shift softer and supposedly get better mileage. Hard to beat TranSynd or Mobil Delvac which are synthetic Dex 3's.
