My nephew went to the track last Friday. There was a race Saturday so the track was prepped well for test n tune. He ran a best 10.78 - prior best was 11.14. Ran three 10 second passes that night. Stock bottom end LS1 with hot cam, bolt ons, 12 bolt moser, and a big shot of laughing gas.

Kewl! I to recently entered that club! Ran our Nova here a few weeks ago, babied a couple of 12's on the fresh motor and stood on it and ran a 10.73 next! Ah hell i just skipped the 11's :rofl: And that was footbrake launch and wheel spin to the 60'

Nice job. We just got done a supercharger on a C6 corvette and we are looking for a 10.5. It is pretty stupid on the street. Going fast is always fun

Our buddy is still finishing his 92 camaro with a turbo LS1 in it. Ran a 12.05 on a soft launch at just under 120 so it will be a beast when he gets it all dialed in. That poor 10 bolt needs replaced! The 10 sec camaro above already had a moser 12 bolt put in it.

That is getting done on a stock longblock
I bet the rods and pistons are loving all that spray.

I'm amazed by how much these motors hold up to, There Parish with the blue reg cab sb and now I think a Farmont with a 5.3 with just a cam swap and a turbo and it runs 9.27 @ 14x area.

LS1 engines can take a beating! Just make sure your wastegate is working. The turbo camaro lifted the heads shortly after he got it together because the wastegate was not opening properly. Lifted the heads so he went ahead and took the oppurtunity to put 6.0 heads on it.

It can be done I know LOL. Those #7 pistons love to crack between the rings and trash blocks.
