'10 LMM in Mexico

Anybody been down the Baja this past year with their LMM? Fuel issues?
Did you find ULSD in south Baja?
Thinking of going in Jan 2014 with my 2010 SLT.
Any info is greatly appreciated

I have a customer who takes his LMM down there and hits the sand drags with it. He hasn't had any issues that I'm aware of.

Thx, I plan to stay for a month or so with my 5th wheel. Heard some not so good stories about the fuel, just joined this club today.

Take some spare fuel filters with you just to be on the safe side.

Yeah, it'll be the other "6 pack" I take, Mexican beer is always good! I'm thinking of driving a gasser down the Baja if there isn't enough info out there to put my mind at ease.
GM here in Canada is telling me my extended warranty is not valid as well.

Mexico only has LSD fuel & if you have a DPF & you use LSD fuel it would probably cause the DPF to regen more often. & maybe down the line screw up the DPF. So IMO take extra ULSD fuel with you or get a transfer tank full of ULSD fuel.
