so i searched and tried reviving old threads to see if someone could answer my questions but hadn't had any luck, so hopefully i don't get lit up for starting a new thread on a pretty common topic.

Anyways, i finally got around to installing my fuel sump and Kennedy pumps/dual filters along with deleting the stock fuel filter.

I was going to do this yesterday with my fuel filter delete but then got lost on how to run it with the FICM (2004 LLY) are you guys just no longer running fuel through the FICM or what? also, it looked like on mine, (trying to fallow the hard fuel supply line from the tank up to the engine) it looks like it came up and went into a "block" under the coolant pipe? but maybe i just lost track of where the hard line was going cuz i couldnt really see around the pipe.....

i planned on running new 1/2 push lock from my fuel pump/filters up to the cp3 but now not sure how/if that can be done that way?

so im looking to see if anyone has a write up on there's with pictures showing how they did it? and how the lines go ran?
i want to still run fuel through the FICM to keep it cool and dont really want to move it off the VCover.

Should go from tank up to the push lock connector on d/s, then into a hard line which goes over to the p/s into the top of the ficm. It would have then went from the bottom of the ficm to the stock filter assembly. So you can run the 1/2" line from the bottom of the ficm right straight to the cp3 pump.

Thannks, that makes sence. so i should be able to run from the pump/filters, straight to the top port on the FICM and them from the bottom port on the FICM right into the Cp3?

If you wanted to bypass all of the factory hose, yes. The factory hose is all 1/2" besides the factory "draw straw" and between the fuel block on the p/s and cp3 pump.

well i bought 15' of 1/2 push loc so i might as well use it,
but also i think stock is only 1/2" OD, beause my 1/2" ID pushloc fits perfect over it to clamp on. but ill dig back into it this weekend and decide if it will be easier to just go between the blocks with push or just redo it all

I was thinking about doing the same thing and running -8 line from my lift pump to the push lock connector on the d/s.

I ran from my airdog right to cp3. I am not to worried about my ficm overheating as its not a dd and I do not tow.

mines not a DD but more of a weekend driver and 80% of the time its hooked to a 42' 5th wheel toyhauler so i think the FICM might get hot

I still run thru the ficm I ran 1/2 from the lift pump to the ficm and 1/2 out to a Jeggs fuel block 1/2 in ans 2x 3/8ths out then ran directly to each cp3.If your only running 1 cp3 you can just block off the other port.It had an 1/8th inch port in the top and I put in a liquid filled 30 lb gauge for fuel pressure.
