anyone done it? they look to be same size opening just haven't compared cuz I been that close. would be cool to have all that stuff oem style instead of aftermarket

If you take the time, you can make a aftermarket fit pretty close to an OEM unit. Not to mention it's a lot better unit.

can someone get me a measuremen on the nbs nav unit? Only thing is if it's a plug and play setup.

or Will a unit from my years plug an play.

not even close. different plugs, different databus, different wiring...

you might get it to fit physically, but you're putting a square peg in a round hole as far as the electrical/wiring/computer side of it goes. Like trying to run powerstroke injectors in a duramax or something. :)

It's not to hard to wire one up with all the adapters these days. If your not comfortable doing it, or don't wanna pay someone for an aftermarket wiring job, factory might be a better option for you.

If the square peg is smaller then the round hole it'll fit :p

But seriously, like Ben said, there's no way you're going to get a NBS headunit to work in a OBS truck.
