Recently the drive front nerf bar "black pad" came off. It took me months of telling the parts department at the dealer this was a stock dealer item to order me a replacement. Well I got the new pad but it didnt come with the rubber grommets. They said I was out of luck. I have thought of drilling a hole from the bottom of the step and installing a lock nut with a washer and putting the pad on that way. I dont like the idea of drilling a hole in the nerf bar. I also was thinking of putting liquid nails under the pad and sealing it that way. I just was wanting peoples opinions and ideas on how to install this step pad. I have checked Home Depot, Lowes, Ace, OSH local hardware stores I couldnt locate a rubber grommet to lock the pad in place.
