08 fuel filter problems

I was replacing a fuel filter yesterday on an 08 lmm and I got the fuel filter to fill half why up. The it stop puting fuel in the filter what should I do thank you

No need to fill the filter prior to installing (not recommended), install the filter then loosen the bleed screw on the primer pump and pump till the fuel comes out.

I already did that I did not pre fill the fuel filter. The fuel filter pump filled it up half way then stopped pumping fuel in to the filter

I replaced a fuel filter on an 08 lmm. The fuel filter got half way filled up from the fuel filter pump then stopped pumping the fuel in to the filter. What should I do need help fast thanks

Try cracking the filter loose a little and pumping, maybe just air locked on you. How fuel is in the tank?

So if you take the filter off and pump it does it move fuel freely?

No not even with the primer screw in

If you have a shop vac that can blow. Remove the Fuel cap on the tank and pressurize it with the blower. You may need a helper to open the bleader screw a bit.
