My friend has a 2008 gmc sierra with the 5.3 and his truck keeps throwing this code and going into limp mode. The code says cruise control circuit voltage too high. Any ideas or helpful advice would be appreciated.

Find out what other codes there are. There has to be other codes. Because P0575 will NOT make the truck go into limp mode. If P0575 sets, the only thing that happens is that cruise control is disabled.
A GM tech buddy of mine says they are having to replace some gas pedals for that same reason. But he says it is a different code than that.
