I've asked this on other forums, but theres alot of city people on gmfs and im sure conditions vary compared to the country.

Do any of ya'll with the 07+ new style trucks have problems with keeping the paint/trim clean? Seems like even though i just waxed the 08 dmax that its a magnet for road debris. and keeping the trim clean involves a pretty damn rough bristle brush which obviously, isnt ideal for paint. Yes i know how and have clayed this truck multiple times, just seems impossible to keep clean because of GM switching to a different paint/clear combo.

Anyone else with this issue?

The paint on mine is paper thin and I try to keep in clean by regular wash/wax. I have to stay on it a few times a week to keep it right. I just tried some Meguiars NXT wax and liked it a lot. That and the quick detail spray seems to help. It's just shitty paint.

cdbright, we havent used static chains since our old 7720 Titan II  and its a 9650 just to correct you

I try to keep the 08 cleaned up, but its damn near impossible when our paved roads are white right now because the state loves to throw 15ton/mile of salt down i swear. if i can get it washed in the winter twice a month im pretty happy because our well freezes up in the winter so i have to take it to the self-wash and freeze mah ass off lol. I use NXT wax ontop of sealant, but it still doesnt seem to help...
