06 vette vs Duramax

Friend has a 06 stock Vette what do I need to beat him. My truck is a 03 4door with lift and 305 tires intake and exhaust, Getting EFI Live before we run and truck has stock tranny and going to do a 4 wheel launch

is the corvette an auto or manual>? Chances are you aren't going to have a chance with a stock trans unless your buddy cannot drive to save his life

And a 4wd launch will probably muff up your tie rods unless you get sleeves and such.

you are also lifted on a big heavy wheels and tires... on a drag strip if you launch in 4x4 you might have a chance in the 1/8 mile other wise time to build your trans...even then you probably don't have a chance

I would say this is beyond the relm of a "chip-n-filter" You are going to need a good bit of work to take an 06 vette....they move pretty well in stock trim.

Figured I would lose but going to have fun any ways and were we play the road is real slick so maybe he'll spin and I can jump him a little and mess with his head.

Here is a slip of my first race, didn't know what I was doing really. I had SC trans, lift pump and tuning. The new corvette is on the right. It should be somewhat close for the 1/8th if you can get a good launch and if you have good tuning.
