I have a 06 LBZ Crew cab short bed 4x4 lifted on 35"s. Currently has a 4” MBRP exhaust, AFE cold air, EGR delete with pressure pipe Intake and heater grid delete. I'm in the process of doing head gaskets. That’s a whole other story there, no problems found so far. Since I have the turbo off I have decided to replace it. The truck is a daily driver with occasional towing duties. It will be getting EFI live eventually, but not right away. Bigger injectors are also in the future plans along with a Trans build. So I have looked at a Garrett 4094R both T4 and non T4 kit. Have also heard people mention the S366 and the Cheetah from Fleece. I do want to stick with a single I think. From what I have read twins can be a PITA to tune for. What are some recommendations for my application? End goal I’m thinking 600 -700 HP is enough for my needs maybe more than enough if there is such a thing. Any advantage to a T4 flanged kit over a drop in?

Mark made the vanes in the type r. Mainly for the lmm and lml for under boost codes. I'm glad a got marks turbo over the cheetah. Customer service is everything to me. He's very pleasant to work with and has been doing it a long time. Best customer service out of anyone I have ever bought from. Call him tomorrow and pick his brain about turbos. Hes very good at what he does.

Cool thanks for the info I think ill drive over Monday. I like to deal with people face to face. My wife hates it because I waste so much time and fuel driving all over the dam place. LOL

I'd get the billet 68mm stg2r from Mark at Danville. Throw the turbo on, take the truck to Mark and have him dyno tune it. He's one of the best tuners.

I'm doing the EGR delete now. I know theres a good chanceit will turn on a check engine light. But not always. I plan on getting EFI live as soon as I can. Looks like I may need to get it right away though if I run the Dan Perf 68mm Turbo.
