06 boost sensor /2 nd one in 2years

is it common for these boost sensors to go bad on these trucks .I have a 2006 2500hd with 150,000 on it.I replaced it when I got truck and its only been about 10,000 miles and computer is throwing same code again. just cant stand this check engine light on .also I just replaced glow plug module for the glow plugs and that because glow plu g module went bad in turn fryed 5 of the 8 new glow plugs that wer installed with the other boost sensor

My 07.5 shows MAP sensor and several glow plug codes, wonder if the glow plugs are bad or if it's something else. My code reader says common fixs reported for map sensor code it gives is APP wiring repair
