05lly problems

Just did HG on this 05 lly truck ran beautiful drove it for about 50 mi than the low oil pressure light came on and truck immediately shut off and will do nothing but cranks over. Obviously checked oil its full upon getting truck back to the garage i checked with my efi i have a p0642 and a po192. also did some further investigation to find that the actual fuel rail pressure is reading 26702, when the desiered is 5802 with the truck not even running, Any info, ideas, thoughts would be appreciated thanks.

It sounds like the FPR. When it is unplugged or not recieving voltage, it will max out the rail pressure while running. You may want to check on the rail pressure sensor too.

checked both have proper voltage at both its saying the actual rail press is 26000 even when the truck is not running? hate to just throw parts at it but its getting to that point.

If it's saying actual it's 26k with the engine not running that all but guarantees either a faulty rp sensor, connector (either at the sensor or the big bale connectors on drivers valve cover), or wiring. I'd start at your rail sensor connector and make sure pins aren't spread, same at big connectors. I don't remember which connector the rail sensor runs through. Ohm it all out if pins look good and if it all checks out time for a sensor. The fact that it gave a low oil pressure message and won't run makes me think it's a bad connection at the big connectors. It should run with a bad rail sensor just not well.
