Ok, my ac used to work fine. My truck is an 05 and has the digital Heat n AC. Today me and my brother installed a dump bed insert on the truck, had the passenger side battery disconnected for maybe 2 mins, if that to put the battery cables for the hydro pump on the dump bed insert. now, when i started up the truck, it went straight to auto 74*. then the driver side blows hot air, when set to any temp. the Passenger side works fine. Somebody help me out?

try unhooking the batteries again and see what happens. I have heard there is a relay/switch or whatever that will get stuck one way sometimes when the batteries are out. Happened to my dads avalanche all the time.

well, my brother called me right after i posted it, said he did some checking around and to pull the fuses for the hvac. let it sit with them out for a minute, then start the truck, and let it sit for a minute, it fixed everything.

before i posted we tried unhooking the batteries several times. thanks for the input
