Currently have my grill painted all white with a black bowtie. The body shop scuffed the chrome that was in good shape and sprayed it white. Been about 11months since painted and now its starting to peel around the bowtie. Seen several that have painted all the middle section black, left under their headlights color matched to the truck. Anyone have pics if this? Can't find them now and undecided what I wanna do. Was debating trying plastidip on it but haven't decided. Any ideas on a new grill option? Not spending 1k on a rbp etc.

I had just the chrome part color matched to the truck. I left the honey comb part black and painted the bow tie black. It's been like that for 2 years with no peeling. Just a few rock chips, but overall, it still looks very good.

I had mine done at a body shop. I'm sure they scuffed it up and sprayed it with adhesion promoter then shot the color and clear on it.

Red scotch brite, a good adheision promoter and a light coat of buildi primer sand till rock chips are gone may need a few coats. Then spray a good thick coat of accrylic on it, 2 stage may hold up better to chips and road rash. Also you can get urethane on roll out sheats that can be applied when the paint is cured.
