04 lly radio issue

LT model with BOSE and XM radio options and onstar (if it matters) anyways. I live in upstate NY which could have been the start of the issue do to the extreme temps...maybe. the cd player in the truck S!@# the bed. the cd symbol on the radio screen blinks unless I hold down the load button and then it goes away. cd player does not initialize at all and has all 6 cds inside. I thought it may be gears worn out..but I dont know for sure. I replaced the fuses I thought could be culprits as well and no change.

Any advice? ideas? or am I stuck spending 300 on a replacement or 800+ on and aftermarket?

also why im at it, anyone recommend a gauge fix site? my steeper motors are going down. I like the LED replacements on some sites but just thought ya'll may have some 1st hand advice

Try to leave the fuse out for like 10min. to reset the system.
TNRGreene has 2 Units for sale on here, if yours is toast.

There was a reflash for that that applied through '05 but unfortunately for me not '06

what do you mean by reflash? for the ECM? or take it to a dealer, mine is not under warranty any longer...

There was a TSB that may or may not be able to fix the eject problem but the fix ended with the '05 model year. Pretty sure I got the TSB # some time ago from DP but since it didn't apply to my truck I think the service writer at the dealer kept it. If there is a dealer you have a good raport with you might get it done for free if you can get the TSB#
