Ok so i have a set of 04 chevy tail lights on my o4 GMC. I wired in the extra 194 bulb as a turn signal using a seperate 194 socket taped into my regular signal. My question is, does that 194 also act as a marker light when wired up to a Chevy?? I know on the Chevy's that 194 bulb alternates blinking with the regualr signal, but its not wired like that on mine which is fine by me. I didnt know if it was suppose to also act as a marker when not being used as a signal when on a Chevrolet??

I did the same thing but I just bought 03+ harnesses they plug right in, no cutting and hacking necessary. 
I have the 04 tail lights on my 01 ... and yes it is a marker when its not used as a turn signal ... but i just wired mine up as a full time marker light
