Hello all,my dad has a 04 ccsb 2500 with 130k on it an the air conditioning isn"t working properly. When it's say anthing below 80 out it blows cold air anything above that it blows warm air, so he added some freon and still doing the same thing. Someone suggested it needs a filter and a flush of the system. I'm wondering if anybody has had same experience and what was there end result.

Thanks in advance and this seems like a great forum.

Our buddys 03 CC/SB does the same thing. He is going to try and take out the cab temp sensor. Its under the headliner on the drivers side. If u take the weather stripping off it about 4 or 5 inches in. He said its about $150 for a new sensor... Havent heard from him to know how it went. But its an idea!

Thanks for the info, take the weatherstriping off on the inside of the cab right, although it makes me wonder why the sensor would only work when it's cooler out and not when it's hot out. I'LL let him know about the $150 gamble, he was quoted $120 for the filter & flush which i thought was a good price.
