Help: 04.5 lly

I have a buddy who is having some issues with his lly. Truck has 130k on it. It is running real rough and seems to be stuck in limp. I pulled these codes:

P0208 Injector 8 control circuit
P02149 Injector Positive Voltage Control.....
U1000 Class 2 Data link......
U1096 Lost Class 2 comm. with....

I'm thinking it is some sort of harness issue, but not sure. What are your thoughts? Thanks in advance.:hug:

Did he mess with the engine harness before this happened? If so, then that is what I would suspect. Unplug the harness and pull on each one to make sure the tiny pins are where they are supposed to be. When mine ran rough once, it was because one pin had moved just a 32nd back. When I ran my finger across the pins, I could tell one was off. Got a needle nose plier and made SURE not to touch two pins together with the pliers and pulled the pin back in place with the others. Check this and see what happens

I don't think he has messed with any of the harnesses.
