How are guys doing a bellmouth through the core support/headlight/turn signal area? I'm looking to go this route over the winter and am looking for some insight/ideas. Ideally I'd like to be able to remove it to run on the street with a filter but not 100% deal breaker.

thats a cool idea but it doesnt work the same as the velocity cone. putting those on helps smooth out airflow in to the turbo and can boost power a bit. That cummins i helped build (and apparently have now been written off it and kicked to the curb *&^#W)$#) but thats another story) when one of those was added to the big turbo, it was good for 50hp on the dyno. thats at 2k+ hp though. i would bet the gain is not that much at lower power levels

I know Firepunk just did a similar test to this in one of their videos and noticed a 15hp back to back test on a smaller charger than my 480. I am trying to figure out of it is worthwhile for me at the drag strip.

Why not try mo headlight first to see what happens? That’s pretty common and super easy to pull out.

Op You can Google it there is a image of one search "ram air intake" on Google it should be some of the first pictures on a gmc or Chevy Hunter green in color it looks to be sheet metal that's similar to a cold air box thiness but is shaped or bent to form the contour of the head light cavity pretty neat stuff I found it years ago hope this helps at least give an idea to start with and perfect :thumb:
