0281 error code help

I'm trying to load my tunes for 2 weeks and I can never get ahold of Kory for help. I know what 0281 code is. I checked my fuse for the lighter. I have checked everywhere else. I had old tunes from Idaho Rob and Im not able to load the new tunes

Are you trying to load them on an Auto cal or with a V2?

update it off the forum and update the firmware and see if that fixes it.

use these two updates and then use V8 scan and tune and check the update firmware button and do that and update config files if they are shown in red. I bet that fixes it.

On your LLY, make sure you are pulling the radio, radio amp, info, ABS fuses. They can cause a lot of communication issues.

I tried the fuses and the updates and it didn't work. Anyone have an idea what the problem is

And the firmware? Might have to have your tuner resave the tunes with this update we are running on (the one you just downloaded) if he happened to save with the one just before the one you downloaded and now your actually one update ahead of the one the tunes were saved or built with. Worth a shot.

EFI Live has been changing software a lot in the last couple months. If Kory is using the March 3rd edition, that is where EFI Live went haywire on the LLY's. The latest software version on the website fixed that and has been a stable release for us.

Thanks for all the help Rob. After talking to you and Kory and doing some reading. I found out my problems were coming from my remote start
