02 lbz into 04?

Is it possible, or should I sell the 77000 mile LB7 and find a lbz for a transplant. Some things have happened lately that involved a small tree, a rock, and a geo prism, but the 02 Dooley may be a goner. Looking at a 04 2500 Avalanche but I love my diesel. The truck runs still, the tow driver backed it off the car it landed on, no leaks, but the frame looks twisted. Should I attempt to put my engine in an 04, or should I try to part the 02 and buy an LBZ for a transplant instead?

Edit:the thread ws supposed to say LB7. I got LBZ on the brain.

I don't think you'll be able to do it very cost effectively or simple, because of the mismatched electrical systems. But better wait for another response
