Allison 5sp: 01-02 Bt diesel lock up box on but not working?

So I simply unplugged the box to situate wiring under the dash. It still unlocks the converter and probably manually locks, I didn't check that, but the automatic function is back to stock Tcm tuning.

Has anyone had something similar happen?
