Only while towing. If I use the tow mode it kicks the code withing 15 minutes but if i run it in the normal mode it kicks the code after about 45 minutes. I know its a low fuel pressure code but don't know why. Also it only happens when I am towing more than 1500 lbs. Thanks, Micah.

Change the filter again. Also drain the filter to see if it is full of water. It could be that you picked up a bad tank of fuel and it is plugging the filter. If there is water in the filter, keep a couple on hand and drain frequently. Just because the Water in Fuel Light did not come on, does not mean that the filter is not full of water. They WIF sensors are known to not work.
A reprogram fixed mine, you might want to get the truck checked with the tech 2 before you start throwing parts at it.
They did mine there is a thread in here titled something like 'dealer fixed my 0087'. With a copy of the receipt. Sorry can't link it right now from my phone. I really don't know if anyone with. A tech2 can do it
