LB7: ticking noise (broken 6m bolt holding lifter guide in place)
took my 2004 lb7 to gm for ticking noise they removed transmission thought noise was coming from cracked flex plate! "not" they set valve lash on #5,#7 cylinder noise would go away, they were not sure what the problem was... i took my truck back home and removed pass side head found lifter guide...
