    I would definitely be worried that you are on built engine #3 and have a rough idle after snapping 2 cranks. Wow that is not cool.

    I wasn’t aware that you can “sleeve” a Dmax block? I know fingers offers .040 oversized pistons. Also snapped the crank because tuning was too hot down low? I guess I never experienced that one either? Good luck on the next engine sounds like you have put some $$$$$$ out!

    Got it fixed. 2004 was correct I updated my v7.5 software and all is good. My V8 was updated and firmware was correct but evidently my V7.5 was not. My bad thanks.

    Ya I dont think I have ever experienced this before. Qll my .ctz files are fine and all my .tun files are not able to open.

    I am currently running latest software build and current firmware. I was thinking that in efi explorer you could drag your file into a location and it would convert any .tun or .bin file into .ctz or .coz? Its been so long since I been in hereI guess I have some reading to do.

    Hello all its been awhile. I just jumped back into my Efi v2 to open up a stock lb7 file .tun file and no longer can access .tun with current efi live software. Is there a way to change .tun files to .ctz or .coz without having to use a file converter? Thanks in advance, Randy.

    The build you described they sold you on the transmission sounds like a joke. Maybe have a reputable shop handle your allison. It sucks that it has cost you that much but it sounds like Mike L has you on the right track with the turbine speeds and most likely clutch troubles.

    I have 3 buddies here running into emissions issues often on the L5P. 2 live in town and 1 over the mountain. The last report I got was from a close friend that was in Az with a trailer. They are gonna trade the truck off when they got home. 18,000 miles and lived in the shop.

    I have had a few lml that do not liked advanced timing at all in that rpm range. Most of them are better off following the factory timing map in that rpm range.
