    Success! :woott: Jacked up the truck, tugged on the left front tire, tons of movement. Changed out the hub assembly in no time with the help of McRats write up (thanks!).     Got my Timken wheel bearings on order, but in the meantime I've got the 'Service Brake System' message on my DIC. Are these possibly related? I'll also check u-joints. How exactly do you do that?:confused:

    Good news so far Step one in mystery noise elimination complete. Changed the old T/C fluid out for some fresh new Transynd (not trying to start Trannsynd vs 5W30 debate). It was full to the top, a little burnt, but still full :woott: Inspected everywhere for pump rub signs, none so far...

    ..but that's why I sold my 1500 bought a heavy duty truck, so the bearings/driveline/breaks could handle the torture. :banghead: Oh well, guess I would have replaced a lot more parts if hadn't got it, plus it's a blast to drive :driving:

    Hub I thought wheel bearings were pretty constant noises that changed when turning left and right. Did your's do that? Mine doesn't change with wheel direction? :confused:

    I've got a new noise coming from my front end. It's not a random popping/creaking suspension type noise, but instead its a rotational bearing/shaft type noise and I can feel it very pronounced in the steering wheel (and my seat/floor). I thought it may be a wheel bearing, but it's not...

    Transgo Tranny has smoothed out alot over the last couple days. Hooked up my 5er and pulled it today on 40hp tow tune w/turbo brake, did great! Shifted smooth, wasn't rough at all. The turbo brake wasn't as aggressive as I thought, though. Oh well. Thanks guys!

    Relearn I only got the EFI really for the turbo brake for pulling, a cleaned up stock tune for daily driving, and a 40 hp tow tune. The guy just put the 80 (w/turbo brake) and 120 on there because he said he had a couple places to fill up on the DSP5 in case I wanted them. I do have and EGT...

    I've pretty much decided on the 265s because of towing, now Im just trying to decide between BFG A/T and Mastercraft Courser CTs. I think it was easier to pick my childs name when he was born!
