5 inch backspace
You'll rub a little, the reason being is the -38mm offset (If your wheels are 12" wide). I'm guessing thats your offset given 5" backspace, how wide IS your wheel? That tire isnt that big, only about 28" diam but.. it's 12" wide, and with that offset.. that tires gonna be way out there.. and...- Sam

Biggest Tire on 05 2500
It all depends on your offset, stock is ~20mm POSITIVE. If you go with a negative offset, you're putting the tire out there further and with the extra leverage you're gonna run into rubbing problems w/o a lift/level if you go with a tire that's got any size to it at all. here. compare...- Sam

Hey man, for what it's worth i've been doing quite a bit of research on wheels and tires and what'll fit, what wont. I think I'm gonna end up going with a 22x9.5 rockstar, it's an 18mm offset, where stock is 20mm. As for tire, I'm gonna go with the nitto trail grappler 305/45/22 exact...- Sam
