    I found one used locally for $500 from a 2012, mine is 2011. Will that still be plug n play? Stickers on it have the exact same numbers.

    Can I just swap a TCM plug n play? No tuning or what-not? I currently have a tune for towing on the truck and I’m pretty sure it messes with shift points. I’m not sure how any of that works at all so I figured worth the ask.

    took it upon myself to remove the tcm to check wires and realized it wasn’t secured in the proper place. It was just bouncing off the belt pulleys and getting gouged (didn’t penetrate) . I tested resistance at the plug for shift solenoid 1 and got 0 ohms. Plugged TCM back in and now it won’t go...

    This is the video of what is happening. Every time you see the RPMs surge up is when it’s trying to shift out of first but it’s just going into neutral then back to first. At the end it gives up and goes into limp mode. https://streamable.com/dq6vvt

    Took 4 more quarts but it’s filled. On test drive as we speak and there is a new code with the other 2 P0752 - Permanent

    1 inch up the dipstick from bottom, added another 2 quarts and it didn’t even budge. I’m going to go grab another gallon right now. Keep you updated.

    First time poster here, I got a 2011 Chevy 3500 w/ allison @ 100k miles. Last week my truck got stuck in the backyard when parking my trailer. the dash showed “Shift inhibited return to neutral” and threw a CEL, it finally budged after cycling 20 times. Once I got it going it kept bouncing...
