Just want to make sure i understand. When you say isolate ignition from comm you mean opening the remaining harnesses apart. Can i check continuity between the two? Would that tell me what i need to know? -

With the comb in the splice pack and the ign0 fuse in i have erratic voltage. 3 to 6.9 volts. When i pull the comb and jump the communication wire in the splice pack to the K wire it has a square wave on the O-scope but is much different looking than anyother module. Meaning the waves are more... -

When i pull the ign0 fuse from the left side dash fuse box and use my power prob the ign side going to the fuse has 12v, the other side going to the under hood fuse box has the 1.3v. This is with key on engine off. With the fuse in i have no communication to anything. With it out i have... -

So i have not pulled either of the fuse boxes apart yet. The 1020 wire comes out of the underhood box at C2-f11 I believe then is factory spliced in the harness to the ecm and tcm. I'm puzzled as to where the 1.3v is coming from and why it's affecting the class 2 communication. -

Hoping for some constructive feedback. Here is were I'm at so far with this huge pain in the but. In the fuse panel on the left of the dash. With Fuse IGN 0 in there is zero communication. This fuse is one of many supplying power to the ECM and TCM. If I remove it or unplug the TCM connector... -

Yeah i put the charge on it. I thought it should be closer to 12v Got a serial 2 com issue. Still tracing. Narrowed it down to the entire trk :) What a headache. :ROFLMAO: Good thing im strong willed or thick headed. Haven't put a label on it yet. -

Question. In the red tcm connector pin 31. Back probing I'm only getting 11.64 volts with KOEO. Bat voltage is 12.18 in the clr connector pin 3. Do you know if the "12 Volt reference" on pin 31 in the red connector has to be at or above 12 volt KOEO or is that 12 volt KOER? -

Forgot to mention. Ths dash clusted also has check engine, abs, brake light on. DIC says service brake system and no prindle, It does still show PRND1. Also no speedo.- rcashman

Ron I was told there was a U0100 code as well. The BCM is the not new. It's the original. Only the ECM is new. Does your provided information still apply.- rcashman

Quick question. replaced the ECM, Had someone try to flash for me. Was told the BCM has a serial data fault. Does the key need to be programed before the security system will let them hook up to the bcm?- rcashman

I dont have the equipment for that. I did check continuity from the dlc to pin side of the plug, which was fine. Not sure if that's the proper way or not. Only thing i could think of. -

So here is my update. BTW I really appreciate all the help finding info. Pulled ECM and TCM. Inspected all pins (female and male sides), check all circuit grounds, powers and data wire from DLC to ECM. The only thing I found was in connector C1 (blue) for the ECM. Pin 50 that goes to cam... -

05 lly 235K miles, all stock. Started with leaking trans selector seal. Removed NSBU switch replaced seal. 1-2 weekly later started getting selector inhibitor messages on the dash with no gear selection indicator on dash. If you turned it off and started back up it would go away and go into...
