well got the truck back on the road the other day. i was checking voltage at the connector on drivers side valve cover to the regulator and had voltage and everything seemed fine. I looked closely at the connector coming from ECM and the supply voltage wire to the regulator was pushed out of...
Just checked them out. From what I see the ECT come out of main harness right behind sensor. I also pulled the top off of the main harness and looks like the FPR wires go over to the main connectors off the drivers side valve cover. I don’t think they can be flip flopped. I didn’t find the other...
Well got my new high pressure lines on and started it and drove it down the road. Truck doesn’t have any power has p0089 and p0090 codes but there is a positive…..There is no more fuel in the oil!!!
So I decided to pull the drivers side valve cover off and hook it back up and start it up. It was leaking down into valve train between injector and high pressure line at a fast rate. So hopefully that’s the only issue. Gonna get new lines and do one side at a time with valve covers off to make...
Truck was making oil so I pulled injectors and had them tested. They came back ok. So put those back in and bought new return lines. Started it up and it’s still making oil. So I took oil fill tube off to look to see if the seal was leaking. Didn’t see anything. Had a bore scope to look as well...
I have a 16 foot dump low pro 7k axles and i have had zero issues with it. bought it a couple years old. my only complain with it is that the paint on it peels off and its suppose to be powdercoat. Well they must not have let it cure enough or something. Other than that its been a good trailer.
I put some reman 30% over injectors in my truck from Lincoln diesel in 2015, since then I have only put 30k on the truck. Religiously changed fuel filters and ran hot shots secret additive. I got truck out a couple weeks ago and changed oil and has fuel in oil. So I pulled valve covers and ran...
Yea when I changed the sensor I cleaned up where it met, it did have some rust build up there. I also took that ground by the cab mount cleaned it up and put it back on. Didn’t help
So I’ve been dealing with this issue for a while. I pulled my ABS fuse because below 10mph the ABS will kick in and pulse and brakes get bad. With the fuse out obviously I don’t have ABS but the brakes feel good. With the fuse in and under 10mph it does not pulse. Has anyone had this issue...
I broke a cab bolt off on my truck, been wondering how I’m going to fix it. A couple guys told me to pull the carpet up, use a hole saw pull it out and get a plastic plug to plug the hole saw hole. There’s an idea.
